Our vision

Our vision for the ideal Arabian Horse has been realized in Shahdeen, a paragon of excellence that sets the standard for all others. Not only is he an extraordinary performance horse, excelling in every discipline he undertakes, but Shahdeen is also proving himself as an exceptional sire. His daughters are continuing his legacy, producing remarkably high-quality foals that embody the same brilliance and grace. Shahdeen is not just a champion; he is the benchmark of Arabian equine perfection.

Shahdeen is the stunning copper chestnut son of the legendary Om El Shahmaan. As the heir to an illustrious legacy, Shahdeen embodies the excellence and grandeur of one of the most significant Arabian horse lineages in modern history. He captures the quality and essence of his esteemed heritage while offering his own remarkable attributes.

Shahdeen’s impressive sire, Om El Shahmaan, a US National Champion stallion, stands as the leading sire at the world-renowned Om El Arab International. This breeding program has achieved unparalleled success, producing some of the most beautiful and sought-after Arabian horses globally. To learn more about Om el Shahmaan, click here.

Om El Arab was founded on the legacy of one of the most exquisite Arabian mares in history, the Spanish beauty Estopa. Named among the top five most influential Arabian mares, Estopa is renowned as the dam of the famous stallion El Shaklan, who initiated the "Golden Cross" trend in Arabian breeding by crossing Egyptian and Spanish lines. The results of the Golden Cross were extraordinary, surpassing all expectations. For more in-depth information about Estopa, click here.

Om El Shahmaan carries forward the El Shaklan and Estopa legacies. As a great-grandson through his sire, Sanadik El Shaklan, and a grandson through his dam, Om El Shaina, a daughter of Estopa and the esteemed World Champion stallion *Carmargue, Om El Shahmaan is the heir apparent to this remarkable lineage.

Sanadik El Shaklan, perhaps the most successful son of El Shaklan, sired champions worldwide. Sanadik daughters, known for their exceptional quality, are in the finest breeding programs and are rarely offered for sale due to their incredible producing capabilities. During his lifetime, Sanadik El Shaklan was arguably the world’s leading sire of national, international, and world champions, earning this legacy one exceptional foal at a time. Stj Shahdeen’s dam, EC Nadine, a straight Spanish mare, was bred by the renowned El Camino Ranch. This prestigious farm is celebrated for producing the gorgeous and athletic son of Jaguay, Numaa++. A multi-champion stallion, Numaa excelled in halter, country pleasure, and informal combination, earning numerous accolades.

EC Nadine herself descends from Kadina SSB, a paternal half-sister to the legendary Estopa, both daughters of the immortal Tabal. While they share different dams, the quality and resemblance between these mares are striking. Shahdeen is a maternal half-brother to DM Xandru (by First Cyte+), a two-time National Sport Horse halter champion, cementing EC Nadine's reputation as the dam of regional and national quality horses. Shahdeen, embodying this legacy, was crowned Region III Champion Sport Horse Stallion as a 2-year-old and achieved other wins in halter.

Shahdeen epitomizes the finest traits of his lineage, bearing a striking resemblance to Numaa with his white socks and blaze while exuding the exotic type of his sire with large, expressive eyes and a sculpted profile. His photographs often capture the Numaa influence so vividly that he could be mistaken for a direct son, yet his resemblance to Om El Shahmaan is equally undeniable. His bold Spanish heritage makes him an excellent match for heavily Egyptian-bred mares.

As a performance horse, Shahdeen is fully trained in reining, having competed successfully in local competitions. His versatility extends to cattle work, including cattle drives, where his passion for working cattle is evident—a trait often passed on to his offspring. While he has dabbled in jumping, he has yet to compete over fences.

In 2012, Shahdeen sustained an injury that left a noticeable scar on his right hind leg. Though this injury is superficial and has not impacted his soundness or performance ability, it has left the leg slightly larger. This in no way diminishes his capability as a sire or performer.

Shahdeen is the ultimate sport and working horse candidate, standing at an honest 15 hands with a sound body, mind, and beauty to spare. His bright chestnut coloring, flaxen mane, and striking blazed face complement his wonderful work ethic and enthusiasm for any challenge.

At the 2023 Region III Sport Horse Show, Shahdeen created quite a buzz, impressing participants from the Pacific Slopes and the DAHA show. His standout debut performance over fences garnered multiple wins and prestigious accolades, including the Region III Champion title over fences and the Region III Reserve Champion stallion in hand. His extensive list of achievements is a testament to his exceptional talent, culminating in a beautiful trophy and a stunning buckle, symbolizing his outstanding success at the show.
